I have been slinging tacos for a little bit now, somewhere over a year, and have become a bad bad person because of the job. It is not actually the job, or the fact that I was really that much less of a bad person before...

On occasion we play a game called "guess that ethnicity" based on the order, or random other variable such as accents or the tone carried in the voice. I am from Montana and l've about thirty minutes away from a reservation, on the first of the month, all the way through the first Saturday, we get our asses handed to us, by people ordering our flat-bread products. (I will try to refrain from giving away the name of the taco place I work for) these are always purchased by our native american customers. I don't mean to say that they are the only persons who purchase this items, I just mean they purchase the most. Here is an example that though exaggerated will help to shine some light on the issue.

ME: "Welcome to taco place, how are you today?"
THEM: fifteen voices completely indeterminable orders being bellowed in unison.
ME: "Alright then if you have any questions feel welcome to ask."
THEM: "Do you sell buffalo?"
ME: Peeking out of the window
SCENE: Fifteen people packed, like drunk college students into a phoneboth, in a two-door pinto that has at least four colors, two of which are rust and primer.
ME: "No, I'm sorry. We serve beef and chicken"
THEM: "Okay, we'll have 7 *flat-bread combos* and ten crunchy tacos..." the order continues.

I really don't mean to come off like I dislike native americans, what I dislike are people who enact a stereotype.
